Wines
There are many ways to approach drinking wine – you can stay with those you know well and are comfortable with , or you can head off into uncharted territory. Our extensive wine list will allow you to do either – or both! We have wines from all the usual suspects – France, Germany, Spain, Australia, Chile etc., but also a few from some lesser known regions, Lebanon, Tunisia, Mexico, Scotland and Greece. Then there’s the issue of grape variety. Our house wines are a fine selection of the usual suspects and difficult to beat for value and quality. Our house wine selection varies from a Sauvignon Blanc to a Liebfraumilch and from a Rioja to a Montepulciano with everything in between. However, we also play host to Tarranga, Graciano, Durif, Viognier, Pedro Ximinez and quite a few more! You Choose…..

Gin
Not quite as extensive as our Whisky collection, but we do feel that our modest collection of gins, 50 plus is more than adequate. From the rugged & beautiful landscape of Unst to far flung eastern reaches of Japan, we’re sure we can find one that suits your palate. If you are looking for a traditional London Dry, can thoroughly recommend the light and floral Bombay Sapphire or the dry and sophisticated Sipsmith. Perhaps you would like to be a bit more adventurous with your choice, how about Drumshanbo, Irish gunpowder gin, with flavours of coriander, citrus and warms spice.

The Long Room Collection (Whisky)
Our Long Room Collection is our modest Single Malt Whisky collection, we wouldn’t pretend to be amongst those specialist Malt Whisky bars dotted around Scotland, presenting up to 500 malts each, but we feel our selection of 260 or thereabouts will give you scope to either investigate or indulge yourself with some well kent aromas. Be assured as and when a Shetland Malt becomes available and of drinking age, we shall proudly offer it, but in the meantime we offer a selection of 7 from our closest distilleries in Orkney. Although, the greatest area from our collection still remains Speyside, from which we have a selection of over 100 bottles. Our selection ranges greatly in price, percentage and maturity, from a 43%, 10 year old Laphroaig Select at £3.20 per ‘dram’ to a 58%, 16 year old Clynelish at £6.20 per ‘dram’ all the way up to a 43%, 25 year old Macallan at £100.00 per ‘dram’ . We also have approximately 20 offerings from ‘Closed’ Distilleries, due to the limited nature (and ever increasing price of these limited bottles) they are on sale at somewhat higher prices, these include a 54%, 21 year old Rosebank Distillery closed in 1993) at £80.00 per ‘dram’.
